Reckless presidential election celebrations causing deaths

Abuja – The Federal Road Safety Corps has
warned motorists against drinking and
driving as people recklessly celebrated the
outcome of the presidential election, Punch reported. Many people have died since the
announcement of Nigeria’s newly elected
president, Muhammadu Buhari by driving
under the influence of alcohol, causing serious
crashes. Public Education Officer, Imoh Etuk has
expressed that breath alyzers are being
administered to motorists in Abuja to detect
the level of alcohol consumed by commercial
bus drivers at Jabo Motor park. FRSC personnel has been deployed
nationwide to keep the roads safer during
the Easter celebrations.
